It's Not Magic, You're Gonna Have to Cut Your Calories!
1 of 1 found this helpful As with most people, we're trying to figure out how to lose the weight. Most women have a little "pouch" once they've turned 40, so their marketing strategy is what caught my attention.
It is an easy read. Basically, besides being told to add the MUFAs to your diet, the plan is common sense - portion control. They give you an exact menu that they recommend you follow which (unfortunately) doesn't work for me after the first month. For the 1st couple of weeks I did EXACTLY what I was told to do and didn't lose weight or inches, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't.

Just A Common Sense Approach
The main point of the book is: to lose weight, you need to control your portion sizes and exercise. It's common sense, but who doesn't need to hear it over and over?
I bought the book because of my love for Zonya's approach to healthy eating. The unique concept of delivering the info in "novel" format was okay but it was a pretty boring story line for a novel. Lots of repeating themselves. Just give me the information and I'd be just fine.
