Best ice cream maker I've owned
Over the years I have used a crank machine, a Cuisinart electric machine and a cheap-o discount store machine to make (or try to make) homemade ice cream. However, none of them comes close to the same universe as this White Mountain Electric Ice Cream Maker! First time out of the box, and it made perfect vanilla ice cream for our Fourth of July family party. Just followed the directions. Simple. Easy. 25 minutes to make, and then we froze it in our freezer for four hours. Oh my! It scooped just like ice cream from the store...and tasted just like I remember from my childhood. Some reviews cite loud motor noise, but the power/quality of the motor is more important to me than the noise. (I've had too many previous ice cream maker motors die.) Highly recommend investing in one of these work-horse units. You will enjoy it a long time. So worth it. Love White Mountain!
