Best CD player for listening to books
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a sturdy, easy to use CD player. I've accidentally dropped it several times and it's always continued playing; usually continuing right where I'd left off. My favorite feature of this player is the ability to turn it off in the middle of listening to a book and resume playing later where I left off. Every new CD player I tried out did not have this feature, and I'd have to remember my location when I stopped listening for the day.
The other wonderful feature is how long the battery lasts. It's listed for 50 hours; I've never measured it, but it's clearly longer playing than any other model I've ever used.

Worked perfectly right out of the box
We lost our remote, and was afraid this would be hard to set up--but no problems at all!

Works well enough with one design flaw
1 of 1 found this helpful I listen to CDs when I go to bed, and when I am ready to sleep if I hit the pause button I can hear it humming and using the battery. If I turn the power off button I will lose my place and have to search for it the next time if i don't remember.
