This is my second one too.....
3 of 3 found this helpful I got this one to replace a 950Q that I've had for years, it's starting to show it's age. Looked at the 955Q which is a newer model but not supported well under linux. Been using the 950q under Linux Mint 17.3 and it's practically plug and play, all you have to do is install the software to use it. Me-TV and Kaffeine work very well with it, MythTV requires a bit of setting up to get it to work. Most broadcasts these days are ATSC, no more analog TV, but I use the composite and S Video inputs with VLC media player to digitize my old VHS tapes. Works good under Windows too. I use this device between a desktop PC and a laptop when I want TV on the go. Highly recommended, you can't go wrong with the 950Q.
