Works great!
2 of 2 found this helpful This item is a refurbished model that works just like it was new! We have been dubbing VHS to DVDs at the rate of about 3-4 per day in order not to overheat the unit and it is working like a champ! It is a great way to convert your old home movies and VHS tapes that you recorded off of the TV. Just remember, because of the macrovision technology included in most of the commercial VHS for years to prevent piracy, you cannot convert the retail VHS movies.......even if you put tape over the tab area.
I would recommend purchasing one of these units if you have lots of VHS to convert like we did. We had about 75!
