It Works So Far
We purchased the brushed nickel model, not the brass. Although the description said "New in open package", the lock isn't "new". There were small scratches on the finish, and the screw package was opened and the screws had been previously used. The directions were not included, which led us to believe the lock had been used, and was more "Like New" than "New." As time was essential, we installed the lock, and, so far, it has been working just fine. Although we haven't yet, we intend to link it to our home security. It is supposed to be compatible. Will update review if needed.
