Wittner Finetune Viola Peg 8.6mm ---Single Viola Peg

Very very nice upgrade.

Recently cleaned up a couple of older viols. In an effort to preserve their pegboxes and eliminate all distal fine tuners that had left damage in antiquity, I opted for these Wittner Finetuner pegs. They are perfectly sized and extremely fine. They fit perfectly on both viols without incident. Because I'm keeping the older, hand-crafted 'imperfect' pegs (but am missing ONE of those pegs), I opted to purchase a single peg as replacement. Remember to PUSH these out: DO NOT PULL THEM OUT of the pegbox if removing them. Wittner does 'precision' really well, so I have little worry about longevity, but that will remain to be seen...
