Sushi Chef Soup Mix - Clear - Traditional Japanese Stye - .33 oz - Pack of 12
    Feb 04, 2020
    Finally
After a lengthy search for a mix that can match restaurant quality Japanese Clear, or Hibachi soup, I finally ran across Sushi Chef. The restaurant soup that I love has a bit more of a meaty flavor, but I use a package of this mix with an added shot of both beef & chicken bouillon granulated concentrate (1/4 tspn) and a squirt of soy sauce to come as close as I've ever gotten to that wonderful restaurant quality taste. This soup is tasty right out of the envelope, but a bit of doctoring suits my taste buds. My only complaint is that it can only be ordered in envelope mix. I'd love to find it in a large container. Still I now have what I've been seeking.

    A true hybrid
Although the title lists the Adams Idea A1 Pro as a fairway wood, it is in fact a true hybrid. I had done a good bit of research on hybrid clubs and knew that this particular club is a popular choice among tour pros. Even so, as any golfer is aware, when a club first hits the market it carries a terribly high price tag. The price will remain high until it is replaced the a "newer & better" model by the same company. It is difficult for the average golfer to know if a club is really worth the high price unless he/she has actually tried out the club. I was fortunate enough to have played 18 holes with a good friend who is a two handicap golfer and quite knowledgeable about the game. He carried the Adams Idea A1 Pro #2 hybrid and let me use it several times during our round. I found the club was very forgiving and hit the ball extremely long when use correctly. I was convinced. Still, being somewhat tight with my money I felt the price for a new club was just too high. The solution of course was Ebay. There were a number of these clubs listed and I simply watched a number of them until I saw the opportunity to bid on a good used model. The club is now a permanent fixture in my bag and I no longer am on a quest for the right hybrid. I have dropped my 3 & 4 irons and my 5 wood as a result of adding this club. I had tried several other hybrids, including the Adams A30S Boxer, but found the Adams Idea A1 Pro to be the right hybrid for me.

    Magical mystery club?
Okay I'll admit it right up front. I'm one of those fools who keeps falling for those "new and improved" marketing ploys that accompany ever new driver! I actually believed that the word DRAW would magically transform my tendency to slice into a lovely curving draw! Rationally I know that no club can correct a significant swing flaw, and yet I continue to buy into the hype. To be fair I think this driver is probably as good as there is on the market today. If I somehow miraculously manage to make decent contact with the ball, it does seem to give me improved distance off the tee. I suspect that any of the Burner series would make a fine driver and perhaps a better golfer could see a benefit from the "Draw" dimension, but for an average golfer who often struggles to find the sweet spot off the tee there won't be much benefit. The difference in a Draw driver and a standard driver can't be significant enough to actually be something the average golfer will see a benefit from.
