Better Than I Expected!
The "issue" with other liquid hummingbird feeders which I've put up for the birds is that the nectar always seems to find a way to leak out near or around the base. Such is not the case with this wonderful feeder! It's east to fill and stays filled until our little feathered friends enjoy their sweet treat. By the way, if you're lucky enough to have bats flying around your house at night eating protoplasm (mosquitoes, etc.), they, too, like to take sips of this nectar.
For the price I paid, I'm more than pleased and might buy another one.

AT LAST!
1 of 1 found this helpful AT LAST - A columned bird feeder which keeps greedy, ravenous rodents at bay!
For decades, we've tried everything to deter ubiquitous squirrels, but these "unsharing tree rats" always found a way to access and consume the best quality (and expensive) seed blends. Now, all sorts of glorious species of wild birds can feast in peace.
What we also like about this clever design is that no batteries are needed.
The reason that the pesky bullies fail to dig out bird food from the ports while hanging upside down is because the openings are located near the bottom. None of the holes is located up high. Today, we actually saw a frustrated and angry squirrel. Unable to gain entry (as our feathered friends did), he kept repeatedly flipping his tail at the birds. Ha!

Redeeming value
I bought this item for a young boy in elementary school. He seems to be a budding entomologist.
This set of Nano bugs turned out to be his favorite Christmas gift.
I've read elsewhere that some folks buy these robotic creatures as toys for their cats. I hope the redeeming value for feline owners is that they'll keep their cats INDOORS to chase and catch these bugs, rather than let them roam outdoors to murder wildlife. In America, cats are often a problematic invasive species, responsible for killing between I and 3 BILLION song birds each year in the U.S.
