Passable saver
The energy saving aspect of this product is appreciated but its underwhelming illumination leaves much to be desired.

Could be dangerous!
When I first tried to use the device with the handles up it pushed the blades out of the plastic so I inverted the device, placed it over a measuring cup but had to cut the potato into long quarters which would allow me to push the spud about halfway thru by hand then use a plastic spoon to finish. Be advised, this flimsy item has the potential to cause injury if not used properly. In fact, it should not be allowed to be sold. Ebay should pull this off the market.
