Used ballast in excellent working condition.
I am going to remodel my kitchen soon and wouldn't you know my existing light fixture ballast died. Purchasing something new was expensive and would only be used for a few months. I found this used ballast , purchased, and installed in only a couple of hours. Bingo, quite, no flicker, cool to the touch. In short a great deal considering this light fixture will be moved to a work space in the garage once the remodel begins.

Really good upgrade, BUT MagLite focus design flaw.
1 of 1 found this helpful I was excited to receive this improved technology for my MagLite D-cell flashlight. The installation was as simple as unscrewing the front of the flashlight, removing the original incandescent bulb, and installing the new LED bulb.
As far as the light that is emitted from this LED, the color temperature is not the original "warm" yellow light, it is a much improved "sun light" white in color temperature. So, with this LED I am happy with the product, and the fact that I was able to improve on the original MagLite design by making this 20+ year old light perform much better, stopped me from throwing this light into the recycle bin and spending a lot more money than what was necessary...
With that said, the MagLite D-cell has always had a slight design issue when using it's focus feature. While turning the front of the flashlight to change from a pin spot to a flood, there is still a slight dark area in the middle of the light beam as you go through this transition. This is not an issue with the new LED, but one of the flashlights reflector design, I believe. Even though the MagLite focus is a bit sketchy I would still purchase this upgrade and save this old, and very well built flashlight.
My final thoughts. I would purchase the next higher output LED bulb by Nite-Ize (73 Lumen?) if I was to do this all over again. I purchased the 55 lumen because I did not want to have a light that was so bright - light blindness - that it was actually difficult to see the actual task at hand. This happens with a lot of the tactical LED lights that are presently out there. I know because I have a couple of them. On the other hand I think that a little brighter light would still avoid light or night blindness and give this flashlight a little more illuminating power.

Used remote for Denon AVR-3808CI
Denon AVR-3808CI remote (RC-1070) started to become intermittent. Dismantling, and cleaning was helpful, but in the end, was still not 100%. Thankfully finding a lightly used RC-1070 remote was painless and worked right out of the box - no programming necessary. Finally something goes well when it comes to electronics.
