Firefly - Mistake By Network to Cancel
1 of 1 found this helpful This was a series that had it all, while shown by Fox its shows were mixed up in the order they were intended to be seen, almost as to jinx the show.
Best comment I could say was this show was one of the best short lived series, a total of 14 shows, only of which 12 were aired, as they were bounced around by Fox, almost as if they had a beef with the producer, and wanted the show to go down the tubes.
The acting and interaction between the cast were outstanding, if Fox had any true intelligence they'd bring back, and get rid of some of the junk they call entertainment.
If you want action, great cast, and super stories then get this boxed series as its never been re-aired to my knowledge, I think Fox would be afraid they'd be called morons for canceling it.
Try-it as the old saying goes, I have no doubt in my mind you'll love it, send a letter to Fox advising them of their stupidity, just watch it and you'll know just what I mean, one of the few action type shows the ladies will like too, at least mine does, as the female actors have a demand in each show as much as the male actors do.

Little Advancement with time
As others have noted little warming effect for your cup, have a Cup Warmer I bought 10 yrs. ago which offers better heating effect. Disappointed in that time period a better product is not to be found, Cup Warmer offers little in terms of keeping your cup warm.

Alamo Remembered
2 of 5 found this helpful A movie I remembered waiting in line as a kid, for to watch, as I think the movie was done way before 2000, and the year 2000 was when it was produced in DVD form.
Drawn out, in its start, chances are fairly close to historical facts, with a little bending here and there.
Not one sided view, where the Mexican forces are viewed with just as much force and honor as the Texans, inside the rotting Alamo.
figures of the actual count of Texans inside go from 182-187 men, of which it is recorded by the Mexicans only seven Texans surrendered towards the end asking for mercy, but no quarter was given and all seven met the fate of the others.
A huge cast of actors, and as prior mentioned till the last two days the Alamo the movie is a little on the drawn-out side.
The last two days of the Alamo give the worth this movie watching, it happens so quickly compared with the rest of the movie drawn out rambling.
Still a good movie, enjoyed watching, but being a veteran, who has seen and knows the mental effects of combat the battle scenes were as not as exciting as when seen as a child.
Still with its short comings would recommend.
