Perfect. No issues. Will only work with Drive Assist 50 due to location of the built in camera.

Garmin DriveAssist 51 is Disappointingly Annoying & Unreliable
I have the Garmin DriveAssist 50 with back-up camera in my Jeep. It works perfectly and I love it. I decided that the DriveAssist 51 would be a good upgrade for my main ride. I am therefore in a position to compare the 2 models.
Both have the forward facing cameras, and both will work with a Garmin backup cam. I am not using the back-up cam with this unit because my car is already equipped. While the features of the DriveAssist 50 & 51 are very similar, the DA 51 is a REAL pain to use and I'm considering returning it. Garmin Express doesn't recognize it on either of my 2 computers, regardless of which cable I use. This has been the same with 2 different DA 51 units. Sadly, I returned the first unit thinking it was defective, but the same problems persist with the new unit. It alerts lane drifts constantly even when I am nowhere near the yellow line. This is so bad that I keep it muted - which would be bad if I actually use it to navigate on unfamiliar roads. It shuts off randomly! That makes it unreliable especially since it just suddenly goes dark. Thankfully so far I just have it plugged in on my daily commute, and I have used it to navigate out of town only once so far. Although that went well, I don't trust the DriveAssist 51 to be there when I need it. I carry my old 2597 in the glove box as a backup. I might return this thing and just get another DA 50 which has proven to be a much more reliable GPS.
Bottom line - The Garmin DriveAssist 51 has proven to be an annoying & unreliable model GPS and I definitely Would Not Recommend it to anyone who relies heavily on a GPS to get around.
