I am really enjoying this book. My grandmother used to read me the more modern version. But it is really interesting to read these stories as they were originally written! And I get to practice my German and was even able to understand the stories that were in Plattdeutsch.

1 of 1 found this helpful Loved the book. "The Dog Whisperer" really does have an amazing understanding of dogs. Although his specialty is in the larger more difficult to handle dogs such as Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, etc., I still found the information he offered invaluable to raise my tiny Yorkie puppy. I highly recommend this book as well as his others. When it comes to dogs, he is really incredibly insightful. Other training books seem to all be the same by comparison. If you don't know Cesar Millan, by all means watch his show if you can and definitely buy this book. His steps are simple to follow and they work!
