Wasn't struck on the setup out of the box but a little tinkering & it is g2g.Have been playing not plugged since receiving & apart from the setup was somewhat scratchy along the fretboard . Not having had this problem with my many other guitars purchased I needed to do some research. I contributed this to the frets not being smooth /clean/ even etc. After having plugged this into a amp today & being impressed with the overall sound(great sustain, sound you would expect from half decent mahogamy bodied guitar) this is something I am able to live with until next string change when I may try to rectify but not urgent measure by any means.
When I received I played for a while put down thought about what I just received . Wasn't 100% satisfied changed strings & gave a setup & thought ok I have a reasonable guitar that didn't break the budget. It's no Gibson ( doesn't have to be) if comparing to me Epiphone which I would rate 5 out of 5 I would rate this 3 .5.I played again & then put in gig bag it came with & put downstairs & hadn't touch again until today . When plugged into my amp I was extremely pressed with the output & the quality of overall sound.
For the cost of this at $420 delivered I am a happy customer .I was not overly convinced at first but have come around to see forcwhat I have & what I paid I have a reasonable quality guitar & now have already one Haze guitar in my collection. I am glad it's this one!!:)

stoked!!!
Beautiful looking great sounding very comfortable to manage guitar. The closest thing to this i can compare would be a Les Paul Epiphone Standard which i own and for my purposes this is on par. Would not hesitate to buy anything else from The Tokai range.
