A second look
Years ago I saw this pic and was put off by the bland unfeeling nature of the characters( that’s what I thought then).
Our book group leader assigned Mrs Bridge and later Mr Bridge, novels by Evan Connell, from which the film was adapted.
I thought it would be worthwhile to revisit the film after reading the novels. If there is interest, I’ll report on this second time around with the film.
