Anything you see me selling comes from three generations of family clutter. Time for it to go. Your offers are truly welcome.
This is how I consider offers:
- if the item has been listed less than a month and I think someone else still might offer more than you have offered, I will give you a counter offer or tell you I want to wait for someone to pay full price.
- if the item will cost a lot to ship, that means the commission I pay eBay could be higher than your offer and I would lose money if I accepted. So I will counter with an offer that allows me to make a reasonable profit.
- if your offer is less than half of what I'm asking, I won't mind or think less of you but I will probably make a counter offer.
- otherwise I close my eyes and pretend you're standing in front of me with cash in hand, and I'm holding the item, and I ask myself, "Right this minute, would I rather have that cash or this thing?" It's often an emotional decision. Whatever my gut tells me is what I do.

Brand new item. The handle assembly did ...
Brand new item. The handle assembly did not exactly match the instructions that came with it, so I had to figure it out for myself. It was a working design, just different. It still fit. I ended up using just a couple of parts, to replace the equivalent parts that were broken on my own screen door.
