Great for the price
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the first bore scope I've used. I've used it to make sure there was going to be clearance under a LS1 aftermarket valve cover for the breather bung I wanted to install. I used the CameraFI app on my galaxy s7. I ended up taping the wire to a hanger for rigidity. I also looked through the drain hole in the oil pan when I was changing the oil on a Lexus. I just used it in the Lexus because I wanted to play with the camera. Picture quality was good enough that I'm confident that I could have seen any debris or abnormalities if there was any. The light was bright enough to get a fairly clear picture. You can't expect a HD camera for this price... Not yet anyways. You can also find bore scopes with more rigid wires, but not for this price. I like the idea of this wire because I can always tape a pipe cleaner or wire hanger to make it more rigid, but you can't make the rigid wires less flexible. I have not tried the attachments yet. The quality to price ratio was heavily considered when giving it 5 stars. For the $21 I paid, I was very satisfied.
