Try USB 3 port
I plugged it into my HP Win10 USB 2 port. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Frustrating. I tried a USB 3 port and SUCCESS. It has performed flawlessly since. Maybe this will work for others. Good luck.

Good item--check if it fits
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a used, original BMW switch in great condition at a price about $100 less than new. It fit my 1997 Z3 exactly. Just be sure it fits your car before you order. Pull (push) out your old switch and check it's base. This one has a yellow base that attaches to a small yellow wire. Some BMW's of that era use a white based switch that plugs into a large pin block attachment (They're readily available for about 5 bucks.) Whichever you need they are a good buy. Check utube for installation instructions

Disappointed
1 of 1 found this helpful What I received was not as described. They were not satin, ivory simulated, colored, or translucent. They were plain bright white pieces of shiny plastic with unfinished corners. If that's what you need the price is cheap enough, but if you need replacement keys to match as described, this is not them. Pay more and get the real thing these were described to be. Also, a shopping tip, keytops come in different thicknesses. Measure yours and try to find like replacements for the best match.
