Organic Wild Maine Blueberry Jam misses the mark
0 of 1 found this helpful I was expecting a high quality blueberry jam with sufficient consistency to spread easily on English Muffins and toast with morning breakfast. Instead, the tiny berries tend to separate and fall off the toast and muffins; insufficient binder to keep them together and spread easily.
The berries are flavorful, but difficult to manage. We are used to the delicious and fruity Michigan Sour Cherry Preserves that cling to the muffins and are filled with whole cherries in a stable jam.
Stonewall Kitchens produces such a rich Raspberry Peach Champagne Jam that I was surprised by the weakness of it Organic Wild Maine Blueberry Jam. Maine is the company's home turf.

Full flavored cherry jam
1 of 1 found this helpful Michigan Cherries prepared for easy spreading on breakfast toast. Low sugar content means I can enjoy them without damaging my diabetic diet, and they are full-flavored. Lots of cherries that flow smoothly. One of the best tasting and smooth handling fruit jam I have tasted and used that I didn't make myself. Excellent garnish on ice cream, pancakes or waffles; much more than my toast.
