It does the job well....
I bought this as I am retiling a family bathroom and wanted a more professional finish. Overall it is a sound and well constructed product. The cutting disc guard is rather flimpsy but in truth I see that as more of a splash guard as you should be prepared for a reasonal amount of spray when cutting. I suspect that all wet cutters will wet your shirt in the same way and I solved that by having a piece of thin ply in front of the machine when cutting! I also found, again as I imagine with all cutters, that if you marking tape the tile on the shiny side then it gretly improves the sharpness of the cut and avoids the tiny flakes and breaks that run along the cut edge otherwise.
I use it outside because of the spray and reulting terracota coulored deposits and up and down for each cut is a bit of a pain but it is a great cutter and I am really pleased with the results. Well worth the money in my view!

Simple to fit and use
Great for the money, in that it works well and grips a range of phone widths easily. It does extend, but not by a huge amount, so for vehicles with very wide dashboards, it will be around 9 or 10 inches at most from the windscreen. It is a really simple and well made item though and for the price, excellent value.

Well made and effective, get the V shape over straight any day!

It is worth the small amount of extra money to have the V shaped front as this allows you to put the ladder against the corner of a wall which would not be possible with a straight section between the pads. It is bolted together and solidly made.
