OEM direct replacement
The electronic control on my Heil condenser fan motor was damaged due to a utility power spike. The store I purchased my unit from did not keep these in stock and wanted close to $700 for special order. This motor is the same make and model as the original and was a direct plug in. Couldn't have been easier.

Stay away from this model! Uses poorly designed and unreliable magnetic limit switch.
This sliding gate operator from Aleko model AC2400 is no good. There is a problem with the magnetic limit switch. It has two reed switches inside which appear to have their normal operation reversed by a small neodymium magnet placed at the top of the sensor housing between the two reed switches. The motor itself did its job and effortlessly opened and closed my gate. However, the limit switch would intermittently fail to switch when the magnets mounted at either side of the gate passed over the switch, causing the gate to crash hard into the end stops and would bind up the drive gears such that the clutch could not be disengaged with the provided key without first de-tensioning the chain. Called tech support and they immediately emailed me a test to perform which involved placing a jumper wire between two of the terminals where the switch would normally be connected to. They determined the switch was bad and sent a replacement. The new switch had the same problem so tech support then said maybe it was the main pc board. I had already purchased a spare pc board to keep on-hand so I tried swapping it out with the new switch and it still did not fix the problem. I never did end up resolving this. It was too frustrating to have to keep testing and changing parts and loosening the chain everytime the gate would crash that I just decided to bite the bullet and purchase a proper sliding gate operator. Even had someone get trapped inside the property when it crashed in the closed position and couldn't put into manual mode until loosening the chain to the point where it was almost completely off of the gate. I opted for the LiftMaster RSL12UL. It has digital limit stops, a soft start motor, and emergency battery backup. Costs four times as much, but at least it works and is much quieter and solid than this Aleko AC2400. Stay away from this model!
