For fans of international crime fiction
Heard alot about this series so I decided to finally give it a try. Reminds me a bit of the French series by Sophie Henaff. A ragtag team of detectives, banished from their own precincts, are thrown together in the precinct of Pizzofalcone. Most of the previous personnel were discovered to be corrupt, so the newcomers have their work cut out for them - both to solve the various cases they are handed, but also to win back the trust of the townspeople they serve.
While there are sufficient doses of sly humor and banter sprinkled throughout, there is a gravitas attached to the story - both regarding the cases to which the detectives are assigned, but also to the policemen & women's personal lives.
I look forward to reading more.

Great product
I purchased this item for my husband because he's in the construction field and his phone takes a beating on a regular basis. He's had Otterbox covers and swears by them. Loved this newest one too.

Hydrating but lighter shade than expected
1 of 2 found this helpful I've been a longtime fan of Bare Minerals. This new lipstick is hydrating - however I don't think the shade I selected is the best for my complexion (light olive). I had hoped for more pigmentation so I'll try a darker shade next time. Quality and value with all Bare Minerals products is better than expected.
