Good for casual play, bad for hardcore play
I'm an avid PC gamer, and I needed a controller since the PS4 controller still has compatibility issues where you need third party software to get it to work for certain games. The Xbox 360 controller works wonders for every game there is on PC that accepts a controller input, so why not? I buy this one, and immediately out the box the D-pad doesn't work properly. When hitting a direction, it'll sometimes register two directional inputs on the game you're playing, so if you play a game like Street Fighter V with this controller, you'll be messing up important inputs. Even being precise doesn't always work. The buttons are also very flimsy and after playing FFXIV 6 hours a day, every day since I bought this controller they wore out quickly. The final nail in the coffin for this knockoff was that the right trigger started to double-input as I held it down to use abilities in the game. I couldn't raid or do content with this controller any longer, so I'm sucking it up and buying a legitimate xbox 360 controller from the official Xbox online store. It's expensive, but I know it'll last far longer than this poorly constructed thing.
I don't recommend this controller at all if you're a hardcore gamer. If you play casually, maybe 1 to 2 hours some nights of the week, it's a fine and cheap investment.
