Christmas shopping!
I have been trying to assemble the Spode Christmas miniatures for my 5 granddaughters so that each girl will receive the same item each Christmas. Now I have enough miniature soup tureens. I think this one seemed rather high priced - but I'm a grandmother and that's what we do! Sometimes, these items are hard to find. The tureen traveled from Texas to New England in 6 days and was beautifully packed. Beth, the shop owner, wrote a nice thank you on the receipt.

A miniature light for Christmas
First of all, I am a grandmother! I have been purchasing Spode miniature tea party ornaments for my granddaughters for many years. I had collected the same items when my daughters were young. I know that this sweet Spode miniature candlestick is very hard to find, however, I thought the price was awfully high. But, I am a grandmother and I bought it anyway, and I am glad to have it! This ornament was packed beautifully and arrived a few days before it was anticipated. I hope someday my granddaughters will think of me when they have their own Christmas trees!

Getting to know my ancestors
It is hard to describe the content of this book as compelling as it intended as a research book for a line of Mayflower Pilgrims. These books are rather hard to find. Never-the-less, I am delighted to have it because the book refers to one of my Mayflower ancestors. The book arrived safely in just a few days.
