this device is maintenance free and very sensitive, spring can be changed for recalibration

Disappointed…
While this device definitely detects gas as claimed, the calibration is very unstable. Small temperature changes of the air affect sensitivity as much or more than gas concentrations. If you are looking for a gas leak your nose and a spray bottle of soapy water may be far more effective. It’s possible that this device could be useful but I have not found one yet.
