The Perfect Part for this 2010 iMac repair
This product was exactly what I needed to be able to repair an upgraded 2010 iMac. I love this computer. It's a relic, and one Apple wouldn't touch now with a ten-foot pole, even though I submit it is the best iMac prior to the solid state varieties of recent years. We had just moved into our new house -- with tile floors. Our kitty cat and doggie decided to have a game of run around the new rooms, and the cat jumped up on the table where the iMac was sitting and it fell to the tile floor. The screen shattered. At first, I was heartbroken as I thought the whole computer was ruined. But no. The display and the rest of the computer worked fine. The protective screen was what shattered. I googled and found this seller and this screen. It took longer than expected teo arrive due to severe weather conditions across the country, but when it finally showed up, it was the perfect size, design and quality for an exceptional repair. The computer now looks brand new. This is my favorite iMac model. Later models pale in comparison. Thank you for providing this part so that I may continue to use my favorite computer in style. Although I hired a local computer tech to install the screen for me, installation was easy and after watching the tech, it would have been simple for me to install it myself. The only thing that would have been a bit tricky for me was separating the old screen from the display to install the new screen as the tech had a special tool. Maybe make this tool available for sale in the future so relatively untechie folks like me could install the new screen without having to hire someone to do it. Could not be happier with the screen.
