Nice neat pre-printed labels
Very happy with these. The printing is good quality and you can specify what text you want. The labels are also pre-printed with appliance numbers (starting at 1 but you can specify what you want e.g. if buying a second batch).
So, all you need to write on are the tester initials and date. There isn't a lot of space for the date so you'll have to write small.
The labels take ballpoint ink well and don't smudge when you put them onto the appliance.

Robust PAT tester but not optimal for IT
This is an old model but still an excellent and robust portable appliance tester. It includes a flash test, which is useful if you also repair equipment - flash testing is recommended for repaired items but not "normal" PAT testing. The machine is easy to use with a clear test sequence. It can also store test results but I wouldn't rely on the holdup battery of a second hand machine - take notes as you go!
The only things to consider are that it doesn't offer reduced voltage insulation testing, nor does it offer low current earth bond. Thus, it isn't really the best choice if you will mainly be testing IT equipment. Look for the "IT 1000" model instead if that is the case; this also turns up second hand at good prices. Also, it doesn't include an IEC socket so you will need to make your own test fixture (to test earth continuity to the IEC connector) and use a multimeter to check wiring polarity.
You can still test PCs with this unit but be a bit careful what you clip the earth lead to as you'll be putting 8 Amps through it. And it might be wise to skip the insulation test (you can measure protective conductor leakage on load instead, although this test will cut out after 8 seconds so also isn't ideal for PC health as the power will cut off before it finishes booting).

Does the job, good price
Very happy with these. They can easily be set to either expand or contract the circlip as required, and the range of different shaped tips is useful. Some smaller circlips are quite a tight fit on the pliers but it would be easy enough to file the ends down a bit. Let's face it, circlips are an awkward and frustrating contrivance, but these pliers make them about as manageable as they ever can be!
