Installed on 2001 Jaguar XKR with mercedes transmission. Would always throw a transmission speed sensor code and then I couldn't drive the car above

Installed on 2001 Jaguar XKR with mercedes transmission. Would always throw a transmission speed sensor code and then I couldn't drive the car above 3K RPMs. I purchased the OEM kit from Germany from another seller and now the code has gone away. This Chinese-made conductor plate looks nice and it fit well, but it's not reliable.
