Serpentine Belt Goodyear 4060998

Great Price on New Old Stock (NOS).
This great product is now obsolete as a Goodyear Part since Continental Tire purchased the rights to manufacture and sell this same belt under their brand name. Although it is new old stock (NOS), it won't go bad for a long time just sitting on the shelf. I was very happy to be able to find this product at a 66% discount compared to the price for the current production Continental-branded belt.

Iron On method works great ... IF you follow the directions exactly
This product works pretty well but you absolutely have to follow the instructions to the letter. Don't put the iron directly on the Velcro. Instead, decide where you want the Velcro on the fabric and hold it there. Then, turn the fabric over and use iron on the fabric, with the fabric sandwiched between the iron and the Velcro (use an additional protective cloth if the fabric is delicate). Turn the steam iron to FULL-HIGH-STEAM . Apply a little pressure and keep moving the iron around in small movements for a FULL 90 seconds of steady heat/steam (use a clock with a second hand, don't just go by however much time "seems right"). The true 90 second time period magically releases the glue to do it's thing. If you are not willing to follow instructions, you don't have any credibility if/when you give a poor review.
