Excellent feel-good movie

I personally like Sandra Bullock as an actress and a humanitarian so having seen the movie previews, I saw the movie at the theater shortly after its release. I enjoyed the other actors as well and like the film for the fact that the movie is based on a true story. The story shows how anyone can help another willing person not become a tragic statistic. The title was appropriate because it indicated how a blind side of one's social status or race is truly needed when giving from the heart, no matter how big or small. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and bought the DVD to add to my collection.

Great reading, and good value!

I really enjoyed this novel! I was planning to see the movie, and then saw the receptionist at my chiropractor's office reading it. She expressed how she was enjoying it, so I decided to purchase it. I had read about three to four chapters when the movie started showing at the theatres. I went on to see it (thoroughly enjoyed it!), and then continued to finish the book which, of course, filled in parts that the movie was unable to or simply didn't include. The book, as did the movie, touched on an array of emotions: humor/much laughter, sadness, sympathy and empathy, and down right anger...all such ingredients of good writing. I liked the book so that I bought another one as a gift for a friend. I highly recommend it.
