A solid fighter
It's a very good old school "Street Fighter style" fighter. It does have a few differences though but nothing too out there. Even casual fighter players should no problem figuring out how to play. The only thing i can think of that would make it better is the addition of some of the X-Men from later games (primarily Gambit). Considering when the game was released, the roster is plenty full though.
I would also check out X-men Vs Street Fighter.
