QED 79 Strand OFC Speaker Cable
This speaker cable is good quality and easy to use. Once you have stripped the ends you just plug them in and start listening. The outer is flexible so it lies tidily wherever you run it.

Oxford glueless puncture repair patches
I have only used these once but so far as a 'get you back home' patch they are fine. They are simple to use, you locate the hole, stick the self adhesive patch on and re-inflate. I don't know about long term use yet.

Toslink to RCA phono converter
I got the new Virgin TiVo box the other day and immediately realised it had no phono outputs to connect to my amplifier. The TiVo has a Toslink output so I bought this converter and the problem is solved. The unit runs off 5V USB which I connected to the back of the TiVo. If you have a new TiVo and an older amp this is the affordable solution to your surround sound problems.
