Difficult to clean
My main issue with this litter box is: the sifter part is too thick. The slots are about 1/4" thick and the urine clumps that are on the bottom stick in the grid. It's difficult to remove the concrete like plugs in the slots. Either the grid needs to be thinner, or there needs to be some "draft" (for lack of a better term) in them......meaning that the slots need to be wider on the bottom side than the top side so the stuck clumps will drop out more easily.
I have the Whisker City and Martha Stewart boxes and both of them have thin sifter sections that are much easier to clean than this box's sifter. Just a scrape across the bottom with a scoop and the clog is gone.
I have 6 cats and 9 litter boxes. This particular one is more difficult to clean. The high sides are a help, but the front of the box could be a little higher to keep my litter kickers from making such a mess.
