I put the cylinder on and piston in. Everything matched until I went to put the carb on. The pad for the carb is a different angle from the oringina

I put the cylinder on and piston in. Everything matched until I went to put the carb on. The pad for the carb is a different angle from the oringinal cylinder. So there is no clearance to put on carb.
