2 of 2 found this helpful A counselor suggested I read this book to learn to deal with a difficult relationship in a healthier way, and it has been extremely helpful. I greatly appreciated learning that it okay to stick up for myself and learning how to do it a more constructive way than anything I had tried in the past.
It doesn't mean that the person you are having problems with will react wonderfully and everything will be fine and dandy immediately (they probably won't and it probably won't), but it does mean you can tell that person their behavior is not acceptable and lay out Boundaries that are healthier for you. The most important thing for me was learning that my feeling mattered and that there are ways to express those feeling without tearing the other person down or blowing up at them in sheer frustration. It really helped save my marriage, and has also helped with other stressful relationships, too!

It saved some memories!
This little device allowed me to download pictures from some old XD photo cards I found that my new laptop cannot access now. I found some pictures of my Dad, who passed away a few years ago, that I didn't know were on there, so for a few dollars it enabled me to save some memories from being lost forever. Thanks very much!!!

Keeps my phone working
This charger works well - my old phone won't charge completely using the wall cord anymore, so with this charger I just pop out the dead battery and pop in a charged one. Not my favorite solution, but at least the phone is still usable this way.
