Great option if you can't play traditional shallow/lead mouthpieces!
I can't play traditional shallow/lead mouthpieces. I need more room to operate! But I keep searching for a mouthpiece that helps with the upper register while still providing a full and round tone. I have never tried a double cup design before but decided to give this a shot. It produces a nice tone with a more substantial cup size than a traditional lead mouthpiece, while also helping the upper register. It feels similar to a Bach 3 in rim shape and size but has more punch and upper register projection! I really like this mouthpiece!

Its an improvement on the Bach 3C!
The outer and inner diameter, cup size, and throat are identical to the Bach 3C. But the rim is slightly rounder and has a little less bite on the inner chamfer. The backbore may be different, not sure about that. But it allows me play longer with less fatigue and with improved upper register. And the sound is very similar to a Bach 3c; full rich, and round. I really like the Bobby Shew Jazz for all 'round play.

Excellent trumpet case
Very good case. Protective and lightweight. I have several Protec cases (two double trumpet cases and older single case). I really like the design and the zippers are so much better than my 10 plus year old Protec cases. I got this at an excellent price so i feel it is an excellent value.
