Rick Wakeman - Songs of Middle Earth
This was a real suprise for me as a Rick Wakeman fan. In comparison with his other works, like King Arthur, Journey to the center of the Earth, White Rock and Henry the VIII, this is a remarkable album. The music is sweet and strong, but without the usual heavy synthesizer usage of the others. This is not only a good Wakeman, it is also great for relaxing with a drink and someone special. Great mood music.

Rick Wakeman - The Six Wives of Henry the VIII
While not quite at the level of his "King Arthur" and "Journey to the Center of the Earth," this is still one of Rick Wakeman's best recordings. The intermix or synthesizer, organ, and piano is spellbinding, leaving the listener wanting more at the end. This is well worth the price.

A Clockwork Orange
1 of 1 found this helpful An excellent cd with a mixture of classical renditions of various works as well as interpretations by Walter Carlos (before he became Wendy Carlos). The wild insanity of the "William Tell Overature" and "Timesteps" compared to the more traditional version of the "Theiving Magpie" show the range of Carlos. Compare this album to Switched On Bach 2000 to see the changes Carlos has made.
