1 of 1 found this helpful The movie is a warm tender heart movie ,about a young White girl growing up in the south, without a mother.her father has not told her nothing about her mother and on her 14th birthday,she runs away ,to where her mother came from and finds a black family, who took care of her Mother when she was sick and learns about bees and honey and life, and about black and white and how we are all the same inside and learns at the age 4 she accidently killed her Mother with a gun.the same blacl family, shows her about Gods love,and she stays with them and learns to be happy.
