Very enjoyable fiction
1 of 1 found this helpful This was a very enjoyable book. I didn't quite get into it as much as I did Harry Potter, but if there is a sequel, I will definitely read it. I also learned a lot about the Salem witch trials and Colonial American life. The author is actually a descendant of 2 women tried for witchcraft in the 1600's so she definitely has a unique perspective. I definitely recommend it.

Great historical South Dakota nonfiction
Very enlightening nonfiction about the end of the pioneering era in the Dakotas. Usually the books I read about this era are set in the late 1800's, but the pioneers who homesteaded in the early 1900's had exactly the same hardships to endure. Though I think 'Tully' sometimes made light of the hardships she endured you could read through the lines and understand what it was like for her. Must read for all women who are descendants of pioneer homesteaders!
