Not suitable in all situations
This works well as a shade, however, if your satnav is attached to your windscreen, and your screen has a steep rake to it, the clip protruding at the back of the shade makes it impossible to have the satnav in a vertical position.

Poor finish to this product
I bought this to make 12mm holes into which to fit some 12mm dowel. A 12mm spade bit that I had made a perfect fit but the point was too long. My first attempt with this forstner bit and the dowel was a loose fit.I checked the size with a vernier gauge - 12.5mm.
I took a photo of the bit in the gauge and when viewing it at a large size I could see a gap between the bit and the gauge although at the very tip the bit was touching the gauge on both sides. Once I had removed the burr from the spurs of the bit it did then drill a 12mm hole.
If I buy a 12mm bit I expect it to drill a 12mm hole out of the packet.
