VF-1D Valkyrie Model Kit 1/72 Scale Japan Import Toy Hobby Japanese

Inspired by the F-14 Tomcat, as beautiful as ever...
The designs from the original Macross anime series are over 30 years old now. Inspired by the F-14 Tomcat, this design is rendered as realistically as an imaginary vehicle can be by the precision model makers at Hasegawa. The VF 1-D has been kitted before by IMAI and ARii, but this Hasegawa approach is to imagine it is an actual plane like their other military subjects, and include extensive decal markings and even etched-metal detail pieces. As primarily a scratch-builder, I am always searching for decent 3-view plans and the images included in the instruction sheet, are to my mind almost worth the box price on their own! Will I build this kit as a stock 1/72 scale model or enlarge it and make another attempt at a flying model? I'm not sure yet, but with the data contained in this excellent model, I'm starting from a much higher level this time!
    Star Wars Rogue One Big-Figs K-2SO 31inch

This IS the droid you're looking for...
I'll admit I'm a Star Wars tragic. When the original film came out I was blown away with the amazing designs and invented worlds. Living in Australia, I felt disconnected from that galaxy far far away and yet ultimately i would get to actually work on Episodes 2&3 which were filmed on my side of the planet! Getting Star Wars merchandise has always been tricky here, the range available in the US and Japan was always beyond me -until ebay! I loved "Rogue One" and K2SO was probably my favourite character. I'd bought a 20'' Big Fig version, but when I discovered there was also a 31" version, I just had to have it! Not available in Australia, an ebay purchase with International shipping meant for around A$100 I could have my droid craving satisfied! My wonderful 31'' Kaytoo now stands in my home cinema alongside his 20''size,Pop bobble head, gashapon and Hot Wheels versions! The 31" Big Figs K2SO is worth the money, well sculpted, nicely finished with yellow accents and -should you so desire, an excellent base for super-detailing what could be an awesome display figure. -Of course, that big re-programmed Imperial droid might not agree; "That is a bad idea. I think so, and so does Cassian. What do I know? My specialty is just strategic analysis."...

Boomer Nostalgia or Historical Document? -Actually it's both!
I grew up in London in the 1960's and the world seen in "Look at Life Vol 5 Heritage" is the one I remember as a kid! The "IN Gear" and "Goodbye Piccadilly" episodes are especially entertaining, as my Father had his photographic studio just up the road in Soho at The Establishment (where he took the famous photo of Christine Keeler sitting on that chair!) The sixties was not a perfect time, but it was a social and technological powerhouse. With the "Look at Life" series, this world of 50 years ago is accessible and vibrant -if a little grainy by today's HD standards! I highly recommend all of the "Look at Life" Volumes!
