I didn’t know it until I mounted the tailpiece on my mandolin and tried to string it up. I had to use one hook for two of the strings to make it work. You might mention this to your supplier. Those hooks were not designed to handle the tension of two strings at once.

Not what I thought
The Product title says: "The Bickford Mandolin Method: In Four Books" Unfortunately it is a reprint of only the 1st book. There are three missing. I nowhere does it say, "Book 1". I am really disappointed because I have been looking for a reprint of all four books for a long time. I thought this was it. I would recommend that this be made clear in the book description. The reprint is very nice although small and hard to read.
