I finally fired it up last night. Turned it over a few times without the coil wire attached to get some fuel in the bowl, then it really fired up with a touch of the key. Needs to be tuned a bit. The hardware that comes in this kit is kind of a mystery, can't say I used any of it. I ended up using the linkage off of the Carter YF carb and cutting it down to fit on the weber at which point the cable was too short so I spaced the cable mount over towards the carb with some washers. I bought all new grade 8 nuts and bolts. The travel on the pedal is more than the carb can handle so I may end up trying to adjust the pedal linkage.
