crossover chant
The Maronite community originated in Lebanon, the home of a seafaring travelling people.
The music of this branch of Catholicism blends Eastern harmonies with Geogorian plainchant and a trace of rhytmic lift.
I would almost think of it as trance chant.
Most interesting as music, not to mention the spiritual power.

underappreciated religion
This book takes a very personal approach to Zoroastrianism, gaining in authenticity, but losing in rigor.
Very good in introducing daily practice and the ethos of practice, somewhat disorienting for a reader looking for a catechism of the religion

yiddishkeit
This collection does great justice to the plaintive melancholy of Jewish music, but scants the enduring upbeat and joyous undercurrent that is always part of Yiddishkeit (after all, where did all those great comics come from?)
Also, it's all on one CD, not 2 CDs
