Real History & historical fiction combined
Well researched. Author steeped herself in the times, the liturgy, the Latin of Hildegard’s day & much more. Foot notes are full of historical detail. “Journal” text is credible & approachable. A good read.
If there’s a new edition, some Scivias color plates, please.

Love your gut microbiome
Got this book from the library then had to buy my own. Good price. Well studied way of life/eating from Ayurvedic & Traditional Chinese Medicine traditions. Very educational.
