Wilton 33-1/2" Pedestal Vise Base WMH63185 NEW

Flexes too much

Base 1/4 inch steel but is 18 inches square with bolt hole at the corners. Base is so wide it flexes when mounted to concrete anchors 1/2' x 3". If base was 3/8" and 12" would be much stronger and would not flex. You would think a company like Wilton would know how to make a vise stand.
