Wasted money

Bought a second after assuming user error. Watched a youtube video as no instructions were included. The guy in the video daid shake well snd depress tip for a few seconds. Nothing. He then depressed pen for 30 to 40 seconds and got it to work. I spent 1/2 hour and was never able to get more than a 2 inch line from pen.
