Simple and practical product

Solid (albeit simple) construction, welds are good, powdercoating thin but consistent. Pins and bolts are zinc coated, not very solid manufacture, but sufficient as no big stress loads are present. Looks far east, but put together well. Instructions are vague, but the entire assembly is easy. If you have played with LEGO when you were a kid (and later!) no instructions are needed! Lacks holes for mounting to hard surfaces but it has space to drill them.

Way to go Pioneer

I've used in the past Pioneer steering controls, satisfactorily. I've decided to give it a go again this time, and found out that in spite of the manufacturer "compatibility list", my radio would not accept any input from this particular control. Therefore, I cannot really judge if OK or NOK. Way to go Pioneer! In short: product is great, but only if you can make it work. Buy at your own risk!

make your phone a ... tank!

This is a comprehensive suit of armor for your standard average weakphone. Having a tool that is prone to breaking as soon as it touches the floor is inadequate and costly. This product is a very nice piece of equipment: comes with all necessary parts (glass for the display, two-piece surrounds with screws, and even the Allen key to tighten them - do not tighten too much, is not needed and it is a fine thread and you will strip them). Now make no mistake - this is a BIG case. The standard phone grows in size at least 1/4, so make provisions to remember it might not be a pocket size thing! Overall I am extremely satisfied, proper way to protect your purchase. Temperature tests shows this case does not affect phone cooling in any significant way. Good stuff.
