Simple, flexible and very cost conscious!
I use a sticky type when I need a quick appendix carry on the weekends but appendix carry during the week is not practical for me at work. So, I needed a practical OWB holster for my Walther PPS (The newer, less squared model.) The holster carries the firearm at about a 15 degree forward slant giving clear acces to the firearm's grip, just barely (but effectively) covers the top of the trigger area and extends just under a 1/2" below the front edge of the trigger guard. Your firearm's design may yield different results. The belt goes thru the holster slots as pictured. You can place the holster behibd your side belt loop for a 4 or 5 o'clock carry, or in front of it for a 1 to 2 o'clock carry. My favorite method is to route the belt into the first holster slot, then thru the side belt loop, than thru the front holster slot and then thru the last belt loop. With a sturdy belt, the lets me slide the holster into anywhere I want from a 2 to a 4 o'clock position. A function od this holster's minimalist design is that the top portion of the firearm is touching skin unless you wear an undershirt, and the bottom of the barrel shroud is touching your pants. My skin has adjusted to the constant contact and fortunately I am not so heavy as to make this contact a high pressure situation. But, when riding at 3 o'clock the barrel shroud is touching the brass pocket rivet on my jeans. This is not an issue if I don't straddle the middle belt loop. If I tire of these two issues I might have a piece of Kydex cut that would slide into the holster with the firearm and extends up and down far enough to resolve them. The front most position give the most concealment when I am at work. The rear most position is the most comfortable driving to and from work, or the occasional lunch trip. In summary, for me, this is almost the perfect holster design for me with the positives far outweighing the negatives. And the price makes this purchase a no brainer!
